Step 1: Sketch a simple grid as a template that will become your draft rubric. Why use a rubric?. Make sure you include the task descriiption, the evaluation criteria and the different columns for the performance descriiptors.
Step 2: Follow the four stage process of designing rubrics as per essential readings doc to first write Steps 3–5, then fill in your draft rubric in Step 6.
